Course Overview
- Understand the STAAD.Pro interface and its application across different structural types.
- Create accurate 2D and 3D structural models using the graphical interface and command editor.
- Define material properties, section properties, and apply various types of loads (dead, live, wind, seismic, moving loads).
- Perform linear static analysis, modal analysis, time history analysis, and response spectrum analysis.
- Integrate STAAD.Pro with other structural design and BIM software.
- Design steel structures according to AISC, IS, BS, Eurocodes, and other international standards.
- Design reinforced concrete structures according to ACI, IS, BS, Eurocodes, and other international standards.
- Design timber structures according to relevant codes.
- Analyse and design connections for steel structures.
- Interpret analysis and design results, and perform code checks.
- Generate comprehensive analysis and design reports, member schedules, and load calculations.
